Shell Signs Long-Term Renewable-Fuel Offtake Agreement in Morocco
On 2 November, Shell agreed to purchase approximately 150,000 tonnes annually of sustainable aviation fuel or equivalent renewable diesel from a planned facility at Nador West Med. The project has an estimated investment cost of US$239 million, while potential EBRD financing of up to US$135 million remains under consideration. The agreement is an offtake arrangement, not an acquisition. HPC can support transaction research, commercial due diligence and project-finance advisory.
